By seeking out and employing Real World Professionals. We maintain Active Law Enforcement and Risk Management Professionals in our staff. Our instructors apply the techniques taught in class out in the real world in a modern setting. 

By attending additional training. Our Staff attend multiple professional end-user and instructor based trainings annually. These trainings range from Law-Enforcement Schools to classes taught by National and World Level Marksman Competitors. We don't want to chase the new fads, but "this is the way we've always done it" can't be the only justification for a method.

By listening to our students, and being open minded. We aren't above reproach, our goal is to impart information in a way our students understand it, and can recall it under stress. That frequently means being able to explain, demonstrate, and adjust for different learning methods. It also means attending training or seeking out conversations and relationships with people in our industry our students are interested in or obtained good information from.

Our curriculum is evaluated regularly to make sure we're providing the best information possible to ensure the success and capabilities of our students. We also regularly evaluate and adjust our training to ensure compliance with Case Law and Regulations as they are implemented.

 We Learn, We Validate, and then we Teach

Our courses are designed to provide education, certification, and confidence to our students. Whether you are attending for licensing requirements or to gain new skills or perspectives. 

Some examples are: 

• Level 1-3 New Mexico Security Licensing
• Pistol Fundamentals
• Carbine Fundamentals
• Low Light and No Light Applications
• Plain Clothes and Conceal Carry Applications (We do not currently conduct NM CHL Classes, stay tuned)

Our Staff consists of the usual suspects in training (Current and Prior Military, Law Enforcement, and Security Professionals). All of our instructors have at least 10 years Professionally Instructing, Coaching, and Mentoring in a professional capacity. 

 We developed a passion for learning, teaching, and growing. We believe in continuing to hone our skills, and pass the knowledge on to others. 

We ARE NOT Delta Force. Some of our instructors have specialty training (Like SWAT or other specialized response) but we're not Operators Operating Operationally. What we teach is what we know and have done, which is more akin to: 

• carrying and using full sized duty pistols in retention holsters and duty belts in a professional capacity
• carrying full sized, compact, and sub compact firearms in plain clothes in various levels of concealment both on and off duty
• Carrying Long Guns and field fighting/duty equipment and employing them in open and condensed spaces for days and weeks at a time in urban and field type environments
• Working in low-light/no-light environments with handheld lights and weapon mounted lights
• Utilizing weapons and equipment in and around vehicles, including felony traffic stops and vehicle extractions
• conducting emergency responses to violent and armed individuals
•  conducting room clearing in small units and hasty teams
• learning how to retain our tools while going hands on with combative suspects
• Learning how to handle combative subjects/tense situations with an appropriate amount of force and deescalation (when possible)
• Observing and avoiding confrontation or dangerous situations while protecting ourselves and loved ones
• Spending time conducting training in our respective units/departments/contracts applying the lessons we've learned
• utilizing our work and personal equipment in competitions such as USPSA/2 Gun/Division Matches
• failing repeatedly and thanking God for his grace while we figure out a way to fix it because we survived to tell the tale

There are plenty of SOF instructors with vetted careers and available classes if that's who you're looking for, we aren't them. We are Responsible Armed Citizens, continuing to develop our skills and mentor other like-minded individuals.
